Overview
Introducing a true top quality, high performance video transmission solution designed specifically for CAT-7 cable. The AK500C7 is built upon Magenta Research’s industry leading MultiView signal management solution and has been carefully calibrated specifically for CAT-7. Unlike other extension products claiming CAT-7 support, the AK500 C7 provides excellent video performance without the aperture distortion smearing visible when utilizing less sophisticated equipment.
CAT-7 also known as Class F or Foiled Twisted Pair (FTP) is a very robust screened cable that’s finding great popularity in Europe as well as for special applications where radiated emissions must be of a very low order and where system noise immunity is of equal concern.
Magenta’s new AK500C7 provides a ready to install MultiView extension solution for a broad range of CAT-7 applications, whether for a single point-to-point link, or for a widespread, multi-screen rollout that relies on facility-wide CAT-7 structured cabling. In addition to razor sharp video, the AK500C7 supports audio and serial communications and is compatible with other MultiView components including the Mondo Matrix video switching platform.
Best of all, as the AK500 C7 receiver itself houses the technology necessary to ensure Cat7 support, it is fully compatible with all MultiView transmitters, including the STx, XRTx, T4, T5 and Morph-It transmitter product lines.
