MultiView-232 series products support RGBHV video and non-RGBHV video with duplex serial capability. This two-way serial capability enables full control over display devices such as plasma displays and projectors using RS-232 commands. The display device can be switched on or off and the display settings (e.g. brightness, contrast) can be programmed and updated remotely. The return path available with the bi-directional duplex capability can be used to check the settings and health status of the display, or to receive data from interactive devices such as touch panels.
