About The Eig Group:
Magenta Research Retains Industry Veteran Lewis Eig To Support the Pro AV Consultant Community
Eig will enhance the level of education and direct support for system designers across North America
New Milford, CT, USA Wed, 2012-06-13
Magenta Research is recognized as a leader in Pro AV signal switching, extension and distribution. Along with TV One and Furman, its sister companies in the Technology Group of Nortek Inc., Magenta announces that it has retained Lewis Eig to act as Group Consultant Liaison. As their representative to consultants, architects and engineering firms specifying the largest Pro AV projects globally, Eig will enhance the level of education and direct support for system designers across North America for all three Nortek Technology Group companies.
John Dace, President of Magenta, said, "Lewis is a uniquely capable and well-known professional in the industry. With his tremendous command of the technology, understanding of the market, fine interpersonal skills and unparalleled access to key consultants, he is an ideal person to help get our products in front of the decision makers, and specified into their projects.
The announcement comes as Dace strengthens the company with a number of strategic hires in key management positions. Additions in recent months include industry veterans Lee Dodson as Vice President of Business Development, Andy Fliss as Director of U.S. Sales and Patricia Booher as Director of Marketing. A seasoned team of Regional Sales Managers has joined Magenta in both the U.S. and Europe. And a strengthened Customer Support and Training effort is in place to ensure that consultants can be confident in specifying Magenta products before, during and after the sale.
Eig said, "It's great to be a part of the exciting changes happening now at Magenta, TV One and Furman. My mission is to unite exciting Audio Visual technology with the consultants and engineers who are specifying the largest projects in the Pro AV market. These three companies deliver innovative solutions that align beautifully together. In particular, Magenta's Voyager fiber-optic platform offers unparalleled flexibility and power, delivering large-scale signal distribution solutions that no other company can match. I am looking forward to introducing consultants and engineers to the new possibilities these products offer, and expanding their knowledge beyond what they may have used in the past."
Serving the Pro AV and digital signage markets, Magenta Research is the industry-recognized leader in the transmission, switching and flexible distribution of multi-format video, audio and auxiliary signals over fiber and Cat-X cabling. Its product range includes AV extenders, distribution amplifiers and matrix switchers for DVI, HDMI, VGA, and component, composite, s-video, audio, USB, and RS-232 signals.
