The Infinea Opto Matryx is a highly integrated switching and extension platform that boasts simultaneous support for an unprecedented number of signal types, including uncompressed high-definition DVI, HDMI, audio, and bi-directional serial. The breadth of signal types supported eliminates the need for multiple independent switches and cabling, while enabling a variety of high performance signal routing applications, including large scale interactive digital signage networks and extension.
In addition to routing high-definition digital video and audio signals from any digital source to any destination display, the Opto Matryx integrates an advanced duplex data signal environment with support for RS-232. The built in bidirectional RS-232 support for each output allows independent control over and data collection from each display – a must for management of large scale display networks.
The Infinea Opto Matryx is designed using a modular building block architecture that allows the system to be custom configured or field upgraded from 8x8 to 96x80 in increments of 8 inputs or outputs. Asymmetrical configurations such as 128x8 and 32x160 are also supported. The Opto Matryx combines the utmost in flexibility with affordability by minimizing current capital costs for AV installations while ensuring adaptability to future growth capability.
For applications requiring long distance extension, the Opto Matryx can be combined with Magenta's Infinea DVI, Infinea M-HDX or Infinea HD-One products to achieve distances to 10km. Additionally, an integrated fiber output option will be available soon.
