MultiView II DVI Rx

MultiView II DVI Receiver 1000 feet with SAP

Overview

The MVII-DVI-Rx-1k is a video receiver that is compatible with the MVII-DVI-Tx transmitter. It extends a high resolution video signal over standard CAT5 cable (also CAT5e and CAT6). There are user-configurable settings for video, audio, and serial options which can be controlled from the front panel.

The MVII-DVI-Rx-1k features automatically adjusted EQ and Skew compensation, greatly simplifying the initial installation and setup. These adjustments can also be fine-tuned manually. The skew compensation can be varied in 2 ns increments to 65 ns total per color-channel to cancel the effects of skew in Category cables. This feature allows you to use a variety of UTP cables (both “normal” and “minimized-skew” types) to lengths up to 1000ft (305m).

MultiView II DVI RX

Overview

tvONE’s MultiView DVI Series delivers 1920x1080 Digital video 1,000 feet (300 meters) over standard UTP cable. As the product carries the industry-respected Magenta Research MultiView brand, integrators can be assured of top performance and crisp video replication, even at the product’s maximum rated distance.

MultiView DVI’s most exciting feature is its full backwards compatibility with Magenta’s best-in-class UTP-based crosspoint switch, the Mondo Matrix. Combining MultiView DVI with a Mondo Matrix provides integrators with the ability to implement digital video when utilizing one of the largest switches in the world, as the Mondo is configurable in increments of 16 inputs and outputs, from 16x16 all the way to 256x512.

In addition to the standard daisy-chain functionality that most MultiView receivers possess, users will also have a choice of outputting digital DVI video or analog RGBHV from a Mondo, by mixing and matching new MultiView DVI receivers alongside existing MultiView receivers. This adaptability ensures that architects, integrators, installers and end users are presented with more options than ever before for designing, installing and operating a switched environment that can easily adapt to multiple video formats, alongside audio and serial signals.

MultiView II STx

Overview

Still the most cost-effective transmitter entry in the MultiView Series, the totally revamped MultiView II STx transmitter still handles high-resolution video and audio on a single UTP cable, but now boasts a variety of new modes of operation for handling DDC and sync—all of which make replicating 1080p resolution video easier than ever before.

Fully compatible with all products in the MultiView –A (video and audio) range, the MultiView II STx is capable of delivering 1920x1200 resolution video to distances of 2,000 feet/609meters when paired with an appropriate MultiView receiver.

DDC choices include a Magenta Magic profile (which supports the most popular VESA resolution standards in both widescreen and standard formats) and the ability to copy and store DDC information from a specific device. Sync modes include Magenta’s innovative new RepliSync-II technology, which is capable of encoding and decoding very narrow sync pulses that some of today’s high resolution devices require.
